Microchanneling

Microchanneling is a procedure that creates micro-channels into your skin to generate collagen production. These tiny holes are ideal to soak up the ProCell stem cell serum which is an innovative technology that helps promote the growth of collagen and elastin for anti-aging, acne scars, and overall skin rejuvenation.

The first difference is the device and technique used to perform the treatment. A microneedling device involves using a handheld roller covered in tiny needles dragged over the skin. This method can tear the skin.

Instead, the microchanneling device encompasses a linear stamping technique, resulting in clean, consistent microchannels. This reduces tissue damage and results in reduced inflammation and substantially decreased client discomfort. Keep in mind that reduced inflammation leads to less downtime. Typical downtime after a microchannel treatment is 60 to 90 minutes, compared to days of downtime with microneedling.

The treatment is very comfortable. We use numbing cream, and most clients can do the procedure without noticeable pain. So there is no lingering discomfort, and we have several strategies to minimize pain during treatment and reduce redness after the treatment. After the procedure, most people report a “tight” feeling in their skin.

Though neo-collagenases (the production of new collagen) can take several weeks, you start noticing an improvement in the quality and appearance of your skin within the first 24 hours. After 2 to 3 treatments, a thicker, more robust, collagen-filled cellular matrix will produce more consistent and noticeable improvement. Six or more treatments may be recommended for scarring, laxity, and wrinkles.

A microchanneling collagen stimulating treatment is designed to enhance tone and optimize the skin’s ability to repair and rejuvenate itself via microchanneling delivery. A condition-specific, high-intensity 30 to 45 minute facial that uses lab-cultured Stem Growth Factors and Cytokines derived from bone marrow stem cells to replenish and recharge your skin’s energy while enhancing the skins texture. It’s enhanced with two powerful peptides to achieve immediate and long-lasting results without downtime.

If you have any underlying condition that significantly impairs your immune system, it’s a good idea to avoid microchanneling. Examples include but are not limited to active radiation or chemotherapy, uncontrolled diabetes, chronic inflammatory skin disease, Accutane in the past two years, hemophilia, or similar bleeding disorder. Also, anyone with stainless steel allergies should not do this treatment. In addition, we discourage treatments for those who are pregnant or nursing.
